solar energy florida cost
im consdering buy a island just off the coast of flordia?

it costs around 30,000 dollars.
and im going to put a 15,000 dollar cabin on the island

do you think i should have this as a home,
or buy a proper house.

i think it would be grand to have my own island and home for under 50 grand.
and im not so worried about food because i can take a boat ride for 1 hour and be in Florida
and i can use solar energy and stuff.

whats your thoughts?

Sounds like it could be very cool, but If you’re an hour from the coast, you should probably have a pretty good size boat to get back and forth in. You will probably need a dock for it too. Sit down and start planning everything you’ll need and researching them. These things are never as cheap as you think they’re going to be. And figure that no one is likely to give you insurance in case of a hurricane. If that happens, you’ll probably just have to pay to replace things
