WASHINGTON – Consumer prices shot up in July at twice the expected rate, pushed higher by surging energy and food costs. The latest surge left inflation running at the fastest pace in 17 years.
With Obama postion on oil drilling and with there no long term plan to rhelp maintian oil prices at a reasonable level, is this the future under Obama.
Windfall taxrs on oil, whhic will lead to increased gas prices and food costs.
No real plan to deal with the 272,560,000 passenger vehicles that currently represent over 85% of oil consumption.
How can a plan that calls for wind, solar, biofues (which are in total expected to supply US enegy requirements of 25% by 2030) and even less a %’age for vehicles, actually not means there is no real policy to keep gas pricesand food prices affordable.
I don’t understand? Is Obama president now? Did he already win the election?
